Tell me it’s ok…PLEASE!

Today has been a bad bad day. I did pretty well early on in the day, but then I get a phone call from my grandma informing me that she’s taking Bryan and I to dinner. At CHILI’S! Long story short, I ate more than I should have, and couldn’t even begin to try and guess how many points I consumed. What should I do? Let it go, and start fresh tomorrow? Throw it back up(TOTALLY kidding)? Cry myself to sleep(Only half kidding!)?  I need you now, my loyal readers. I feel like a terrible person, but I just couldn’t help myself. I hope this doesn’t set me back in a huge way…Blah. Tomorrow is another day, and I just have to remember that. I’m trying….

Don’t give up! Take responsibility. It’s going to be hard. I am in the same boat as you. Yesterday I ate an entire bag of smoked cheddar kettlecorn over a 5 hour period. That is 9 servings of popcorn @ 150 calories per serving. Sick, I know. I just kept munching and before I realized it, the entire bag was gone and I was disgusted at myself, but I took responsibility for my actions and had a small salad for dinner with a baked chicken breast and today I will continue to eat light to gain some headway with my diet. Don’t give up because you were weak, don’t placate yourself because it becomes a never ending loop and things will never change. Don’t dwell on the mistakes you make, just keep your end goal in sight and move forward. You can’t go back and uneat the food, so remember this feeling of regret and do better next time – we both know you can do it!! Keep it up!

Deep breath….it’s okay! One bad day is bound to happen every now and then. Nobody’s perfect! You had a free (and good, I’m sure) dinner and were able to enjoy time with Bryan and your grandma! So, don’t beat yourself up or it wasn’t worth it! 🙂 Love you!!

Just start over again today. You need a “freebie” every now and then, or you won’t stay the course. Today is a new day, just get back on the wagon!

Track it, and move on. Being accountable for your actions is important, even if you went over. Maybe get in a little extra activity when you can. Its ONE MEAL. One meal didn’t make you overweight.

Unplanned events are a way of life. Maybe next time become familar with good choices at Chili’s before you go. Their guiltless grill items are actually very tasty. The buffalo chicken sandwich is one of my favorites. Or if you have APs or WPA indulge in one of your favorites. Planning is very important, but sometimes you can’t plan things that come up, sometimes you gotta work with what you can in the time you have!

    You can do this.
